Two-Car Wedding Limo: Website and Booking Setup
An illustrative scenario for a stretch limo and sedan business focused on weddings: hourly bookings with minimum hours, card payment, weekend surcharges, quote-only long trips and planner referrals.
EazyLimo Team 4 min read Illustrative scenario
This is an illustrative scenario, not a client story. It walks through how a two-vehicle wedding limo business could set up EazyLimo using features available in the product.
The situation
The owner runs a white stretch limousine and a black sedan. Weddings are the core of the business, with proms, anniversaries and the occasional night out filling gaps. Saturdays in peak season are packed, and weekdays are quiet.
Inquiries arrive through a contact form and phone calls, and each one turns into a string of messages about dates, hours, pickup points and price. Couples often shop around, so slow replies lose bookings. A few local wedding planners send work the owner's way, but there is no simple way to recognize or reward those referrals.
What the website needs to do
- Show both vehicles clearly, with photos and details couples care about.
- Give an instant price for hourly wedding bookings, with a minimum.
- Secure the date with a card payment at booking.
- Charge fairly for busy weekends and holidays.
- Avoid auto-pricing unusual long-distance trips.
- Make it easy for planners to send couples.
How the booking and pricing setup would look
The site
Fleet and vehicle pages show the stretch and the sedan with their own photos and descriptions. A services page covers weddings, proms and special occasions. Reviews appear on the site, and blog posts about planning wedding transportation help with search. The owner picks a theme preset and adjusts colors and fonts to suit a wedding audience. Booking types
Hourly is the main booking type for weddings. For couples who just need a one-way ride, point to point works too. Up to three stops covers the typical wedding route, such as a home pickup, the ceremony and the reception, and an extra stop fee applies where the owner sets one.
Pricing
Each vehicle gets its own hourly rate with a minimum number of hours, so a Saturday wedding never books for less than the owner's minimum. A weekend surcharge applies on Saturdays and Sundays, and a holiday surcharge covers peak dates. Gratuity and tax are calculated at checkout. For trips beyond a distance the owner chooses, booking switches to quote-only, so a destination wedding two states away gets a personal quote rather than an automatic one.
Before launch, the owner uses the test-a-quote tool to try a few typical weddings and confirm the totals look right.
Payment
Couples pay by card through the owner's own Stripe account when they book, which secures the date. PayPal is also available. The couple receives a confirmation email with a private booking link, and the owner gets a new-booking alert.
Planner referrals
Each planner gets a promo code to pass on to their couples, giving a small discount the owner controls. A planner who books transportation directly and often can be set up as a corporate account with bookers, so their bookings are billed to the account and invoiced monthly.
A week in operation
On Monday the owner checks the calendar. Two weddings on Saturday, one for each vehicle, and a prom pickup on Friday evening. The dispatch board for Saturday shows both cars and their times side by side.
The owner drives the stretch and has a part-time driver for the sedan. In the back office, the owner assigns the sedan booking to that driver, who receives a status text link to update the trip as it progresses.
Midweek, an inquiry comes in for a wedding several hours away. Because it is above the quote-only distance, the owner reviews it and replies with a price instead of the site guessing.
After each wedding, the chauffeur leaves the printable QR card with the couple, pointing them to the /review link. On Sunday, the maintenance log gets a note about the stretch's next service.
