Solo Airport Chauffeur: A One-Sedan Website and Booking Setup
An illustrative scenario showing how a one-sedan operator focused on airport runs could set up EazyLimo: flight details, flat airport rates, meet and greet, and cash or card checkout.
EazyLimo Team 4 min read Illustrative scenario
This is an illustrative scenario, not a client story. It shows how a one-car operator who mostly runs airport trips could set up EazyLimo, using features that exist in the product today.
The situation
The owner drives a single black sedan. Most trips go to and from the nearest major airport, with some hotel and office runs in between. Bookings come in by phone and text, often while the owner is behind the wheel. Regular passengers are loyal, but new ones struggle to book because there is no website, only a phone number and a Google listing.
Two problems keep coming up. Quoting by text takes time and messages get lost between trips. And airport pickups go wrong when a flight number is missing or a passenger lands early.
What the website needs to do
- Show up when someone nearby searches for an airport car service.
- Let a passenger get a price and book without calling.
- Collect flight details on every airport booking.
- Take payment by card, or let the passenger pay in cash on the day.
- Keep the owner informed without adding admin work.

How the booking and pricing setup would look
Airport and area pages
The airport page generator creates a page for each airport the owner serves, and the city page generator covers nearby towns. Each page gets its own title, description and structured data, and all of them appear in the sitemap. The home page keeps the booking form above the fold so a visitor can start a quote right away.
Booking types
Airport is the main booking type, and it asks for flight details. Point to point covers hotel and office runs, and round trip handles the common drop-off and return pattern. Address autocomplete and distance use the owner's own Google key.
Pricing
Flat routes set a fixed price between the airport and the owner's most common areas, so repeat passengers see the same fare every time. Everything else falls back to mileage bands or a per-mile rate, with a minimum fare so short trips are still worth taking. An airport surcharge covers parking and fees, and a night surcharge covers very early pickups. Meet and greet is an optional extra for passengers who want the chauffeur waiting inside. Gratuity and tax are added at checkout. Our article on how to price airport transfers goes deeper on choosing these numbers.
Before going live, the owner runs a handful of past trips through the test-a-quote tool to confirm the prices match what they would have charged.
Checkout
Card payments go through the owner's own Stripe account. Pay the chauffeur in cash stays switched on for regular passengers who prefer it. The passenger receives a confirmation email and a private booking link, and the owner gets a new-booking alert.
A week in operation
On Sunday evening the owner opens the calendar and sees the week ahead: early airport drop-offs, a couple of evening pickups and a round trip to a conference hotel. Every airport pickup already has flight details attached.
On Tuesday a regular passenger calls while the owner is waiting at the curb. After the trip, the owner adds it as a manual booking in the back office, and the passenger still gets a confirmation email.
If passenger status texts are switched on through the owner's own Twilio account, passengers get a text as the chauffeur heads out and on arrival. After a good trip, the owner points to the printable QR card in the back seat or texts the /review short link to ask for a Google review.
At the end of the month, reports and CSV export give the owner a clean record of trips for the bookkeeper. The maintenance log tracks service dates for the one car the whole business depends on.
